ABOUT COLLEGE

VIT Bhopal University is a private deemed university in Kothari Kalan in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was established by the Vellore Institute of Technology. It is strategically located on the Indore – Bhopal Highway and spreads over 150 acres of sprawling lush green campus. It is well connected to major cities and is approachable from all over. It currently offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Applied Sciences, and Management. Its main campus is located in Vellore, Tamil Nadu.Various other campuses are located in Chennai and Amravati, Andhra Pradesh. Student community from various states of India presents a diverse cultural ambiance on campus.

VIT Bhopal’s academics are structured around these four schools- School Of Computer Science And Engineering (SCSE), School Of Mechanical Engineering (SMEC), School Of Electrical And Electronics Engineering (SEEE) and VIT Business School (VITBS). It is envisioned with a new global outlook through CalTech – Collaborative and Active Learning Technology & Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS). VIT Bhopal University has launched the first integrated ‘Lecture and Laboratory’ learning platform in the country, through novel studio based classrooms that have abolished the concept of blackboards and back benches. Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) empowers students with the freedom to choose courses, faculty, and pace of study allowing an entirely new experience that will definitely empower its aspirants to attain excellence.

It has spacious hostel accommodation with well-equipped health and recreation amenities. Modern facilities for sports, fitness and extra-curricular activities are available. Sophisticated laboratories actively engage students in acquiring practical knowledge of industry standards and mandatory soft skills training is attached as a part of the curriculum for better placement prospects and professional skills. Placement Cell has been set up to bring in best opportunities for internships and industry oriented training of international standards.VIT has been recognized as an A-grade institution by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). It has also been accredited by Ericsson, TCS and Wipro Technologies.
